ABOUT
I live and work in the village of Comrie, Perthshire where I have a small art studio in my garden. I have studied at Bridge House Art in Ullapool, Yellowhouse art studios, Aberfeldy and Leith School of Art, Edinburgh.
My art explores urban settings where the brutal mix of scaffolding, graffiti and abandoned buildings contrast with beautiful and often historical structures. I also enjoy exploring the Scottish landscape in mixed media, including the often unseen urban “landscapes” within Scottish villages and towns where human intervention and detritus, abandoned machinery, concrete pathways, bridges, metal fencing, and waste contrast starkly and almost absurdly with the surrounding mountains and lochs.
